Our private neurology service is central to the neuroscience centre at Bio Chem. Led by a team of London's top consultant neurologists, the unit specialises in the diagnosis, treatment and management of all neurological conditions such as MS, stroke and Parkinson's disease.

With the latest diagnostic technology available, we can offer a full range of investigations including MRI and CT scans, and EEG telemetry. This means fast diagnosis and access to the specialists you need. Neurological disorders can be alarming with loss of brain functioning, causing symptoms that range from headache or memory loss, problems with speech or poor control of a limb. An initial consultation will help to identify the likely cause. Your consultant neurologist will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of neurosurgeons, physiotherapists, speech and language therapists, pharmacists and dieticians on your case.

In our specialist haemoto-oncology department, our specialists work as part of multidisciplinary teams to manage cancer, from diagnosis to treatment, recovery and palliative care.

Pulmonary Rehabilitation

Our cardiothoracic physiotherapists are highly trained and fully up to date with the latest best practice, putting them at the leading edge of their profession.

All programmes are bespoke, however a typical patient would have one or two sessions per week over a period of 6 to 12 weeks.These can either be one-to-one with your therapist or you can join a group of other patients, according to your needs and preferences.As a first step, we would make a full assessment of your breathing, as well as understanding any other health issues you have.We monitor your progress closely throughout, fine tuning your programme as we go along. We also give you exercises to carry out at home as part of your day-to-day life.
